Boston songstress and alternative pop vocalist Annabel Lee celebrates her new EP Prey with the forthcoming release of her music video for “Melting.” The video will premiere August 8th at her show at Pianos in Manhattan.
Produced by I Am The Avalanche drummer Brett Romnes at Barber Shop Studios in New Jersey, the EP is her first work under her new stage name, and is currently partially available on bandcamp. The second half is scheduled to be released in the beginning of 2016. This year she'll be collaborating with some heavy hitters in the business and working to move forward with her career as singer-songwriter.
Annabel Lee is "force of f***ing nature" - (Redline Roots) hailing from Boston, MA who artfully mixes the delicate dynamic elements of a singer/songwriter with infectious hooks and powerful vocals. The unsigned Boston artist most recently toured the U.S, with up-and-coming Boston violin-rock band Nemes, making stops in Austin for SXSW and other major music cities before releasing the first half of her EP Prey. Under her former name Sarah Borrello, Annabel Lee has recorded two full-length albums, toured with Amanda Palmer and The Grand Theft Orchestra, and accrued a slew of local music awards (New England Music Awards: Best New Act of 2012, Rock Act of the Year of 2014; Boston Folk Festival Songwriting Contest Winner in (2007).
