About

Bio

We are Audio Imagery - the fluid combination of catchy pop, R&B & hip hop. Influences from the 1970's onward, from funk to dub step, are apparent in the diversity of songs produced. Dennis Scanland of musicemissions.com said if Audio Imagery’s music got “in the right hands the band could blow up into something huge.” If that’s the case Audio Imagery is trying to get molested.

Audio Imagery is a group that enjoys making whatever music feels right. Sometimes it's serious. Sometimes it's pure fun. Sometimes we rap. Some times we sing. Audio Imagery makes music to speak to your 2 left feet or your mind many times simultaneously. If you pay attention to the words you will be presently surprised by depth and if you pay attention to the detail of the music you will want to dance.

But don't let my words do all the talking. Here is what we have accomplished over the years:
• We have performed with the likes of Fall Out Boy, The X-Ecutioners, Freeway, Bowling for Soup, Black Thought,Ill Nino, Clipse, Blackalicious and many more
• Audio Imagery was awarded for being one of the top ten artists out of thousands by Epic Records in an online Battle of the bands.
• Audio Imagery was ranked second out of 15,000+ bands on the East Coast of the US in the Bodog battle of the bands.
• 5 Time Award winner of various music competitions on indabamusic.com including a publishing deal with Concord Music Group/Banshee
• Award winner for various online competitions on Ourstage.com, UPlaya.com & YouNow.com.
• Featured in URB magazine
• 2 time performer at THON, the largest run student philanthropy concert in the world

Lori Falce from the Centre Daily Times said that Audio Imagery’s “talent powers up a new kind of musical machine.” Well, we intent to use this machine and “ironman” our way into every home, on every radio station until Audio Imagery becomes a household name. We want to show the world what it looks like through the ears of Audio Imagery….

"Here's to fame hoping the game is open covered in neon..." ~Audio Imagery

Mar 01, 2013 Indabamusic Baby Making Music Competition "We should go half on a baby," sings Ronald Isley. Never has such a seminal human act been so succinctly put than by the R&B crooners of the 60's and 70's; and their sentiment has carried through more modern R&B proselytizers like R. Kelly and D'angelo. One thread remains through the different eras - this music is made for making babies. So, Indaba Music would like you to share your best baby-making tunes.

The live MC battle has been a staple since the beginnings of hip-hop. Nothing gets the crowd going like an MC who continually spits out lyrical fire.

Mar 01, 2011 Banshee Football Anthem Competition Finalist Write your best song for cash advances, a publishing deal, and tickets to a regular season pro football game of your choice. Compose a full-length song that captures and celebrates American professional football for fans of all ages. The song can be specifically for your favorite pro team or it can be a non-team specific anthem that focuses on aspects of the game or the fan experience. The recording quality of the demo will not be judged; however, the recording must clearly convey all key song elements (music, melody, lyric). Style and genre are open to interpretation, but the song should resemble sports anthems often played in-stadium: high energy, big beats, infectious grooves, huge chorus, powerful lyrics, celebratory tone, etc. And while the song may be a "battle cry" for your favorite team, it must refrain from defamatory or confrontational attacks on the opponents.
Jun 26, 2009 Lori Falce, Audio Imagery stays slick with 'Electric Ladyland'
"A direct current of talent powers up a new kind of musical machine... that makes it surprising they don't have more radio play, is far from shy about bass and drums that would do any rock band proud and offers a throaty slice of soul to smooth out all the rough edges."
May 18, 2009 My Nguyen , Audio Imagery's Electric Lady - Fusion of Music Genres Makes Hip-hop Accessible
"The group definitely has a great energy that can’t be missed. The mad beats off “Electric Lady” with its RB/Rap/Rock/Pop fusion crosses and covers all genres. The group does it well too, with voice over-harmonies that give a superb vibe of consistent fun."
Apr 30, 2009 Dennis Scanland , Audio Imagery - Electric Ladyland
"This is one of those albums that if in the right hands the band could blow up into something huge. And thats coming from someone who doesn't typically listen to hip hop. Audio Imagery have a tight sound and have created a really good album."
