Forté / Adelaide Positive Meaningful Folk Rock

Forté is a self confessed personal development addict. He is currently mixing a potent combination of Vipassana meditation, Nonviolent Communication and Heart Sharing Circles to strive for dizzy heights of equanimity and self-awareness.

The Adelaide-based singer songwriter guitarist writes and performs “positive meaningful folk rock music for social change” from the National Folk Festival in Canberra to a house concert around the corner. Expect a warm whit and energetic gusto at a live performance whether solo or in collaboration with other talented musicians.

The 2015 studio album, CONDUIT is a lush recording of captivating lyrics and exquisite instrumentation. The next project will be a live album of new material called, EQUANIMITY. It will feature a rousing string section, rich harmonies, pulsating didgeridoo and grounding beats. There is no attachment to the release date ;)

Forté feels a deep sense of purpose to use his accumulated merits for the good of others. He uses his roles as musician, high school teacher and White Ribbon Ambassador to promote respectful relationships, gender equality and healthy, authentic masculinity.

He is also a teetotaling tea-lover who prefers it strong, sweet and (soy) milky. His favourite blends include jasmine green, authenticity, vulnerability, community and the occasional dirty chocolate chai mocha.
