Justine Abigail Biography
Justine Abigail is a 20 year old girl who has a major passion for music and is willing to strive hard to chase after her dreams without any hesitations. She goes by her saying “Live Life Full of Music.”
Love, pain, loss, relationships, friends and family are the main reasons why she gets inspired. She believes that life is about experiencing the new things it has to offer. She uses music to express her feelings towards anything. She spends most of her days pouring her heart out into her songs.
Justine Abigail started to have interest in pursuing her passion for music when she was at the age of 10. She wanted to learn how to play the guitar after seeing the movie “Freaky Friday.” Justine begged her dad to teach her how to play guitar and so he taught her some basic chords and basic strums. Being able to strum a couple chords Justine was too motivated to stop and that’s when she started listening to Michelle Branch. Michelle Branch became a huge influence in Justine’s life to where she started writing songs of her own just a couple months after learning how to play the guitar. Justine was determined to learn more. She began writing non-stop until she realized she had bigger dreams.
At the age of 12, she wanted to be on stage, performing and sharing her music with the world. She became a part of a band called Inchoative Disturbance where she was a back-up vocals and rhythm guitar. They played cover songs from Boys Like Girls and Paramour. They were often invited to play at local events, parties and festivals. It was until then Justine realized she wanted more than just playing locally. She thought big. She would always talk about wanting to play at the House of Blues, Hard Rock Café, and huge stadiums with more than 200 people. After leaving the band, Justine became the newest member of another band called Second Element but this time she was lead vocalist/composer. Unfortunately it wasn’t too long until she decided to just go solo. As a solo artist, Justine discovered there were more challenges than she had anticipated but that did not stop her from going forward and pursuing her dreams even more.
In April of 2012, Justine had the opportunity to make one of her dreams come true and that was getting a chance to play at the House of Blues. About 2 months later, Justine was invited to perform for her senior class graduation with a song she had composed just for her classmates. Without realizing Justine had fulfilled another dream of hers and that was performing her song at a stadium filled with more than 1,000 people. It wasn’t too long until yet again she was invited to sing the National Anthem at an MMA Fight in Commerce which had broadcasted lived and was viewed by more than 1,000 people. Not only has music been a huge part of Justine’s life but it also made her into the person she is today.
