Bio

Nick Dunston (b. 1996) is a bassist, composer, scholar, and cross-disciplinary collaborator primarily working in new and original music, often involving improvisation. He regularly performs in the U.S. and Europe with his own bands, as well as having performed as a sideman with musicians such as Jeff "Tain" Watts, Matt Wilson, Jeff Lederer, George Schuller, and JD Allen. Nick currently studies jazz performance, western classical composition, and musicology at The New School.
